Review by hotel critic
From the moment I arrived at Habita in Mexico City's vibrant Polanco district, I knew I was in for a treat. The hotel, wrapped in a sleek glass skin that glows beautifully after dark, exudes a sense of modern elegance that perfectly blends with the surrounding upscale neighborhood. The spacious and clean rooms at Habita offer a range of comforts, from premium bedding to private balconies or terraces that provide a tranquil escape from the bustling city. I particularly enjoyed the contemporary art pieces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and minimalist design elements that created a meditative atmosphere throughout the hotel. The on-site dining experience at the ground-floor restaurant was a delightful surprise, offering a refreshing take on international contemporary cuisine in a casually elegant setting. The breakfast buffet with a selection of bread, cereals, fruits, and excellent coffee was a great way to start the day before venturing out to explore the nearby National Museum of Anthropology or Avenida Masaryk's boutiques. One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop pool and deck, a cool meeting space that provided stunning views of the city skyline. The hotel's spa, sauna, and fitness center also added a touch of relaxation to my visit, making it a well-rounded experience for both leisure and business travelers alike.Habita's high level of service, modern amenities, and prime location make it a top choice for anyone looking to indulge in the luxury and sophistication of Polanco. Whether you're traveling solo like me or with a group of friends, this boutique hotel offers a stylish retreat with a touch of Mexican flair that is sure to leave a lasting impression.
